- Subject: Leased Line Quality
-
- Here in Turkey, the phones are *amazingly* good. Recently the Turkish
- PTT went thru a major renewal and upgraded (all?) of its switching equipment
- from analog to digital. Local problems sometimes do persist, but they
- come and change your line if you complain long enough of static on the
- line or whatever.
-
- I just 'leased' a leased line (rented?) from PTT, although expensive, the
- quality has been good so far. I do keep my fingers crossed :) -turgut
