  12. Here in Turkey, the phones are *amazingly* good. Recently the Turkish
  13. PTT went thru a major renewal and upgraded (all?) of its switching equipment
  14. from analog to digital. Local problems sometimes do persist, but they
  15. come and change your line if you complain long enough of static on the
  16. line or whatever.

  18. I just 'leased' a leased line (rented?) from PTT, although expensive, the
  19. quality has been good so far. I do keep my fingers crossed :) -turgut
